I came in to purchase some fresh produce but was completely shocked by the owner’s behavior. Anita, the owner, began screaming at another customer simply for touching the fruit — even though it was obvious the woman intended to buy it. She continued to publicly scold and humiliate the customer, even going as far as to call her hands “filthy.” The situation was incredibly uncomfortable for everyone present.

What made it worse was the owner’s rude and false claim that the woman wasn’t buying anything — despite the fact that others in her group had already made purchases and more were clearly about to.

Owner is very rude. To the extent I questioned myself but I see I’m not the only one. We ended up purchasing peaches and a salsa from them. Peaches were decent and salsa was not. Unaware that the palisade pie shop is owned by the same people I went there for a pie. After purchasing a $20 peach pie I had my debit card thrown on the counter towards me. As we walked out my husband mentioned how rude that was and I agreed but thought maybe again it was just me. This stand has some decent produce/merch, however the owner and staff of this place are horrific. To start, the cashier was very disinterested when we came in. She was also rude when inquiring about certain products and when checking out. Second, the women running the place accused us of stealing after purchasing it right in front of them shortly after we left.
