Painted Desert Trading Company — Local services in Four Corners States

We had recently gone to the Bead Store to gather items for a large event and when we had entered the lady in front had started to be rude. Stating there was new rules in place which we were okay with and tried to ignore her rude tone towards us. We continued to try to work with her asking for certain items and her just dismissing us saying she cannot help us unless we had $50. Granted it was a 'new rule' we had told her we had well more than $50 to spend that day. While her tone continued to be rude we decided to ask her what items she had and if we can look at them and she told us no she will not help us and even if she were to help us we had to come in thru the back door and show her our money. We knew we had to spend $50, minimum and were fine with it but at this point it was ridiculous and embarrassing for her and for us. It Is 2025 and segregation hasn't been a thing in yeeeears. We got offended and left and will not be shopping for our bead items in Cameron Arizona at the Painted Desert Company again. Highly don't recommend. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Highly recommended - had the most wonderful peaceful shopping experience, and walked away with a stunning bracelet by Loma'yoo'si Designs and beautiful Hopi pendant.
