It is the highest point in the park and gives panoramic views of the Mancos valley and the San Juan mountains. Consider bringing a packed lunch so you can sit and nourish your belly while the incredible distances nourish your imagination. There are a couple picnic tables along one side of the walking path. You might want a paper weight for your napkins, though.
