My kids loved this place. It was very beautiful and amazing, you have to climb so I recommend you bring a friend because you might need help climbing up. Going back is kind of hard, though, because you have to jump down. If you hike Peekaboo and Spooky Gulch, it takes around 3 hours. You have to drive on a bumpy, rocky road for 1 hour. You have to walk on a trail for 30 minutes, and then you get to Peekaboo. In some parts of the canyon, it is very narrow and squished. Also, in some parts, there are mini tunnels where you have to duck.

This was an amazing tour with Bruce and Grand Circle Tours. Unlike the more commercialized National Parks - which I also love - this was more rugged. Bruce took three of us in a nice hummer and at one point he manipulated a short hill so steep I thought we would surely nose dive! LOL! There are so many beautiful and interesting things about this canyon as you see how every rainfall creates a passage of water and changes the canyon anew. Peekaboo is off the beaten path, about a 20 minute drive outside of Kanab.

NOT THE SLOT CANYON SPOT. FYI for all visiting this is the bottom of Peekaboo Canyon that can be reached on the Peekaboo Loop Trail from Bryce Point. The trail loop has awesome views all the way down of the hoodoo’s. If you’re looking for the slot canyon (like we were), those are about 40mins away, north of Kanab and are reached most easily via ATV - otherwise it’s a 12km hike out and back through sand.
