We visited Queens Garden Benchmark in May, and while the weather was hot and sunny, the scenery more than made up for it. The trail winds through incredible sand formations and towering peaks that look like something from another planet—truly a must-see if you're in the area.
The sandstone structures were absolutely stunning, especially under the bright sunlight, which brought out the rich red and orange hues of the rock. Every turn on the trail offered a new photo-worthy view.
Tip: Be prepared—there’s very little shade along the way. Bring plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and consider carrying a sun shade or wide-brimmed hat. The heat can creep up on you, especially during midday.
