Beautiful hike! We arrived at 8:30 am. I wore tennis shoes but would have really liked hiking shoes for a better grip once you start going into the water and climbing the rocks tennis shoes suck! Bring water and definitely need sunscreen cause it gets really hot quick. Lots of different places to sit in the water either direction. We never made it all the way up but plan to soon. We left around 10am and alot of people started to show up so if you want to avoid the crowds earlier is better! And pick up your trash we ended up picking up other people's trash come on ppl it's to beautiful to leave your...

Been going to this place for years, you can either hike in from the top or bottom but you can't home all of the way through the canyon unless you have a rope and are able to rappel down into the large pool. Make sure that you:

Don't head there during, before or just after a storm. Watch out for wild life, particularly rattle snakes.

I wouldn't advise swimming unless there's a decent flow of water.

Lastly, if you're a rock climber you can look up the details on MP but there is one bolted sport route that goes at around 11b on the right side of the canyon facing the large pool.( 8-10 bolts I...

Beautiful area to hike and take in the views. Some parts are a little more challenging than others so I’d recommend wearing hiking shoes or some sturdy shoes with decent grip. I’d also recommend bringing some water and a snack depending on how long you’re hiking. Even in early December it was hot by late morning. The falls were a little lite on water flow but it was still a good time. Both time and the environment have created some cool looking rock formations. Bring a camera or your phone as there’s some nice places to get...

Just went here for the first time this weekend (July 1, 2023) and there was very little water other than a couple little puddles, but I still had a great time! Not sure if I'm just here in the wrong season, but a little disappointed at the lack of a waterfall. Still loved seeing all the cool rocks and hearing the tranquility of the stillness. Definitely wear good hiking shoes since the rocks can be slippery!

It was slightly bumpy ride on the way up but well worth it. You get a little of every aspect the hiking beautiful views, the rapid water rushing though. I even saw kids using the rapid like a slide as it got to the calm waters. So relaxing to sit dip your feet in and enjoy the sounds of the water. One reminder the water is cold but only for a few seconds so enjoy.
