Vacation Village Pavillion — Local services in Fox Lake

Love living at Vacation Village. Amenities include: Pool, Park, Nature trail, Private beach, Volleyball, Firepit, Dog park, Boat launch and slips, Security, and Club house with pool tables and table tennis.

Their website claims offer tennis courts and a 2nd club house, but these amenities have been locked up and unavailable for use since I moved in, in 2015. Pretty sure that is due to this portion of the property being wrongfully transferred to another entity by management .

On the topic of management, management is the worst. Not only should she be fired, but possibly prosecuted. If one were to investigate I am sure they fine criminal activity going on, but thats just my opinion.

The Owners Association also seems to be run fraudulently, as the Association hasnt been a legal legitimate entity since 2013, thanks to the poor management on staff.

The owner's association seems powerless (likely because it is powerless not being a legitimate association) to get rid of the management, with the system currently inplace.

Until current management is gone and replaced, I would suggest avoiding any long term...

Its overall a nice place but when it comes to the h.o.a. i can honestly say i dislike all the rules added and the fees increase when it feels like not much is getting fixed . I feel along with a lot neighbors ,this places was doing better when we had an embezzlement issues. H.o.a rather invest the money for luxury addition instead of fix real problems. I dont understand why they rather spend on a trolly than a new parking lot. I dont understand the trail pass not being available to residents on holiday or weekend. I work all day and the only time i have is weekends or days off but i always get refused. If you think about living here lakeside is not the way. They will refuse trail pass of groceries or moving things if its a weekend...

We recently we here to possibly bu in this community. Its suppose to be safe. But you'd have to hang on to a 17 year old with an adult anytime your outside The rules for this place most are like any HOA. but completely out of touch with reality.
