It’s been a headache working with this company, to say the least. After waiting weeks for my requested custom closet doors to be ordered, the wrong doors come in, for which I received no apologies by the company. I decided to order an additional standard sized door for another room to match these doors because my contractor told me they were cheap (with no specifics on what that means). I’m expecting Chace to contact me about ordering this new door, and maybe even apologize for their mistake. Next thing I know, there are multiple charges on my card amounting to something I don’t find cheap at all for this door. I signed an authorization to allow the company to charge my card remotely without my physical presence because their shop is so far away. Apparently this also means they charge your card for project materials without discussing the costs with you. Be wary of this. I had an old steel Therma-Tru front door that needed replacement. I have typical "homeowner ability" when it comes to DIY projects around the house. My local Therma-tru dealer treats homeowners as a nuisance, as they prefer to deal with contractors. I reached out to Chace and spoke with Jennifer. She was able to get me a perfectly matched door slab. I just had to prime, paint, install hardware and screw in the hinges. Perfect Fit!! I suggested that we do the same for my back door, because the double-pane glass was all fogged. She said "why not just replace the glass?". Didn't even think that was an option. Gave her the measurements and within a few days, she had me a replacement glass. Chace has become my new favorite store. They have been very fair on pricing and easy to deal with as they supply lumber for 4 dugouts that Tri-County has been building at Wrentham Sweat Fields.
