We were surprised and caught off guard by these prices gougers we are regular bowlers use Earl lanes in Quakertown and earlington often we have been absent for the last 2 years because we moved so when we went to take our daughters to bowling naturally our 9 year old said earl lanes we said we're gonna have to drive for a while but we figured earl lanes is nice and it's worth the drive and it's cheap boy were we wrong we double checked the pricing online before we drove because no one was answering the phone we called 4 times in 2 hours no answer just kept ringing we thought wow they must be busy. So online it says 3.75 shoe rental per bowler and 4.75 per game no more than 5 on lane we got their boaled one game had an excellent time clean and not a lot of people there I thought it's not busy why not answer the phone then insaw the first sign the manager of all people standing next to the phone while it was just ringing off the hook he wasn't busy wasn't doing anything just couldn't be bothered to answer the phone Jamie was his name I remember ...when we went to lay we thought it was gonna be the usual 23 ish dollars that it is then when he hi the buttons on the register it came up to 38 dollars in said how so it's 4.75 for a game he said oh that's per bowler I said that's not what your website said ...onasked don't guys control the website or does google because sometimes Google will mess up stuff I've been on both sides of that fence before so before I said anything I needed to know who to I guess blame would be the word he said we control it I said well here you have per game he said our sign here says per game per bowler I said well you need to change you website he said no you need to check these signs as your buying i said after the fact lol you don't pre pay for bowling man so allow am I gonna know sounds like you leave the website up to trick people because why not change it when you changed the deal here he said it's always been that way I said no it hasnt we come here often that's when he asked the manager to deal with it who recognized me and knew right away I was right about the pricing before but then got snarky with me and said I don't know why you would assume the pricing isn't per person I said I assumed nothing your website gave me the information that you guys are in control of period. Then the attendant who didn't want to deal with it started getting mouthy saying we're kinda dumb for assuming such a thing lol these people are rude and didn't offer any kind of compensation like hey let me take something off of here a shoe rental something a few game for next time nope he blamed the customer not his website with the wrong info nor ignoring the phone of customers trying to get info possibly before they drive a lengthy bit. I know what happened bowling was cheap and always has been so when we've been having. Hard time in this economy people flocked to bowling I know this because we bowl almost every other weekend till we moved now these guys saw that and decided think let's take advantage and price gouge because I assure y up till a few years ago it wasn't per person per game.....Jamie the manager your rude and have no sense of customer service you seem grumpy and agitated by anything if you can't handle your job then don't do it it's a tough world out there and your a little man with a complex obviously do better and as for your attendent rude as hell and swearing out on the floor is just disgusting I hope this review deters customers from you. Read moreI normally come here in the mornings with one of the gentleman I take care of at work. He really enjoys bowling. The bowling alley is well maintained, however everytime I come in during the morning time, usually around 9am when they open, there is a man who works here constantly complaining and yelling at staff out in the lobby area! He is going to have a stroke or heart attack from all the whining he does. It makes the experience so Unenjoyable. He is very nice to customers, but to other staff he is yelling and complaining about the owner and how the staff don't do anything. This makes me not want to return to this bowling alley, I come here in the morning because there's no crying kids running around. But instead I have to listen to this man rant and rave about how much he hates his job. He drops the f bomb as if it is a normal everyday word. Read moreincredibly rude. 5 of us walked in, guy with the beard was already hostile with us while we were figuring out how many games we wanted to play and shoe sizes. we collectively had already given him $66 for shoes and the game. we wanted to play 2 games. he was telling us we didn’t pay enough and one of us still didn’t pay. when i asked him to explain what the $24 i just handed him was for he said, “ you two paid. those two paid, one of you didn’t pay and i’m just waiting for you guys to figure it out”. then he turned, chuckled, and said “you guys are so confused and i’m so intrigued as to why”. after hearing that, we all decided to leave. he seemed agitated that we were leaving and gave all of our money back in one dollar bills. my grandparents loved taking my sister and i here but i will not be returning and i am disgusted with...
