We did not get our animal back. We weigh every animal live before taking it to be processed and have consistently yielded between 62% and 65% hanging weight. The steer we had done in January weighed 1580 pounds and somehow only hung at 49%. I am giving these people the benefit of the doubt in saying they accidentally lost track of which animal belonged to which customer. When I talked to the owner he told me there was no way he got it mixed up with another beef and read me the ticket that called it an Angus cross steer. The animal we dropped of was a Charolais.
