I was beyond blown away of this gorgeous facility, one that I will be back too, sooner than later! If you haven't visited, you're missing out like I have been. The second you step foot onto the facility there is a sense of love and excitement in the air. Every face with a smile.
After introductions all around, we got our pal settled in to check out the new digs. Top notch! A fluke bunny hutch purchase ended up being the best mini barn around, perfectly built for a quail! I met the most chatty and kind guy there, Nick! Watering the rooftop, where else would the goats get to hang out but up on a roof of course! Of course Nick and I even had some mutual friends
He and I could have talked all day about everything. I think he has me hooked on heading out to the polar plunge this year, it has been on my bucket list. I digress! The barn was salvaged so you get a feel of one of a kind uniqueness and the highest point in Frankfort. A view and the breeze blowing in was perfection.
Sadly, I missed so much with a busy summer but you had better bet that I will be at the farm stand the first day it is open with fresh produce grown and harvested, organically, on site. Nick even cleaned out a tomato bed while I was there.
A place to grow is their tagline and not an empty one. While they are growing food, they are also growing minds, connections, skills and hearts. Mine was touched deeply being here. Take the time out to come and enjoy all that Navarro Farm has to offer, your smile will thank you.

Read moreUnprofessional staff in regards to communication and going back on a verbal agreements. We were contacted on 7/31 at the last minute to provide services for an event on 8/5/25. During a phone call we spoke with Kim who agreed to retain our services; we went above and beyond and rearranged things to accommodate such a last minute request with less than 4 days. We broke our own company policies that require a signed contract and deposit to be made first in order to get on our schedule. We did this to accommodate their needs because we were assured on a recorded call, that the commitment to retain services was solid.
Today, with 24 hours till the event, after attempts to finalize things were made, we received a reply that they changed their minds. Not so much as a courtesy call or text. No email.
As a small business, cancellations like this hurt. When we agree to work an event for someone, we turn away others who call later for the same date. Our artists do not get paid if their events get cancelled and they do not work. So this affects the livelihood of hard working single moms.
We pride ourselves on professionalism, integrity and respect. It is sad when we run across others (and businesses) who do not have those same values.
