Shoups Country Foods — Local services in Frankfort

Shoup Catering was a MUST have for our wedding. We love their food and knew all of our guest would love it too. We were happy to be invited to their great office space to plan out our wedding day. They lead us step by step through all the options for the cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and cake. The only problem we had was trying to choose between so many great options.

Skip to the wedding day, Shoup's showed up in full force! I was amazed with the amount of people the had to help out with the bar and catering. After the ceremony, we got our much needed first taste of our speciality cocktails. (side note: I had asked the On The Rocks staff to try to replicate a cocktail I had at a downtown bar. Kailey somehow got the exact recipe from the bar, and it was PERFECT) We went with the hand passed appetizers, which I would suggest because it let everyone socialize. The best part about being the bride and groom is that you get to go first in line for dinner. Shoup's bought a ton of food and no one went hungry that night. We also appreciated that Shoup's could do our wedding cake in with the package, and it was the best cake I have every had at a wedding. Lastly, go for the late night snack option. We did BBQ sliders.

Special shout out to Janna Stillwell our wedding coordinator, she checked to make sure we had everything we needed. She was helping with even non catering related things. I remember commenting to my wife that Janna would have ran through a wall for us if we needed it.

As Father of the Bride, I wanted every part of the big day to go without a hitch. The Shoup's Catering service ensured that they did their part to make that happen. They are excellent. Paul and the entire team were the utmost professional, responsive, and accurate. We knew exactly what we were getting and they delivered. They even adjusted last minute when I missed a detail and quickly responded so that I or the guest would not be impacted. The meal was of excellent quality and I received several unsolicited positive comments. "It was really good, and I normally don't like __" The staff were on it.
