The Oasis — Restaurant in Frankfort

I've been driving by this place twice a day for months and I'm glad I decided to try it out today. To say that I like food is an understatement and I'm not exaggerating when I say that the sandwich I ate at The Oasis was fabulous. I had the Steak and Cheddar along with a side of fries and couldn't be happier with how everything tasted. Juicy and flavorful sliced steak with cheese and topped with all the fixins. The Oasis is a perfectly apt name for this nice little restaurant, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. They have good hamburgers, excellent fried mushrooms and pickles, and a proper Indiana pork tenderloin, among other things. I haven't tried everything yet, but the nacho cheese on the cheesy fries is a good balance between cheesy and spicy. They keep an impressive variety of glass bottled non-alcoholic beverages. above average tenderloins. the breaded and grilled tenderloins are made with a high quality pork with the fat and gristle all been trimmed out. it looks like a cracker crust, just not my favorite but it was still a good tenderloin. there's a good ratio of breading to pork. the grilled tenderloin could have used a bit of seasoning but that's often the case as the seasonings in the breading. onion rings and fries about average. unfortunately they're still using styrofoam...
