Quite possibly the worst pie I’ve ever had the misfortune to put in my mouth. The crust is not only under baked and hard as a rock, but when we were trying to cut the pie, the knife was not going through the crust. We thought perhaps there was a something left in there, so we began scooping out the filling with a spoon. It is quite a shallow pie dish anyway, but as you can see, virtually half the pie is full of crust, and full on raw flour. Those crust patches are 2 inches high. We also tasted the filling and it is utterly tasteless. It doesn’t even taste like corn syrup. It taste like metallic nothingness. The quality of this pie is shocking. It is a disgrace. I’d heard this was a good place for pies, but I will never go back. If I lived closer, I would go over there tomorrow, as it is, I live over an hour away and made a special trip over there when I was in Princeton on Friday.
