Central Bark Franklin — Local services in Franklin

I’ve been bringing my Ace to Central Bark for a few months now, and we are both loving it! He gets so excited when we pull into the lot and he realizes he’s at “school”. He loves daycare and the staff, which is a big plus for me as it can be a little nerve-racking leaving your fur baby in the hands of others, but the staff here are absolutely wonderful, and he always comes home completely exhausted so I fully trust that he is getting the best care here. I really do appreciate how kind and welcoming the staff is, and how sweet they are to my boy!

I also really like the retail space here, and the services they offer. I’ve been able to get Ace’s nails trimmed here a few times before pickup which I really appreciate- and they’re the only ones who have been able to do it without him getting nervous!

Staff is friendly but very disappointed after picking up my dog today. He smelled like urine and was incredibly dirty. It rained all day today so not sure why the staff would allow him to play outside!! The last few times he’s been at central bark, he’s come home smelling awful. Not as bad as today tho. We’ve brought our dog to other daycares in the area and never had a problem like this. Definitely will not be going back.

**update. The day after I posted this review I received a phone call from the owner of central bark. He was very concerned about our experience and wanted to make things right…even if we still felt we would not be returning. After that conversation we have decided to give central bark another shot. I attempted to enroll my dog in doggy daycare/grooming here and we kept getting told wrong information. The first appointment they told us 4pm on the phone and sent an email/text saying the appointment was at 4:30. We went at 4:30 and they turned us away as the groomer was leaving at 5. Second appointment they groomed our dog and didn’t dry him and his nails were awful. They are so jagged and look awful. This has never happened to him before anywhere. I asked about the assessment to enroll him in doggy daycare and was told that appointment wasn’t made we would need to come back again. The woman at the desk was rude/cut me off talking and said we were late for the appointment. We said the email/ text said different and they said something is wrong with their system. There is an extreme lack of organization and...
