Mudd Creek Country Store — Local services in Franklin

If I could leave less than one star, I would. This place is nothing but trash with a crook for a proprietor. First off, they stop having coffee at 5 pm even though they are on Highway 79, in an actual town, and don't close until 11pm. What kind of country store stops serving coffee!!! Second, the damn crook told us that there was mocha and we paid for it but when we got down the road and took a swig we discovered it was nothing but hot water!! When we called to complain she stated "well didn't you see that it was only water when I filled it up!" Damn crook let us pay for hot water when she told us it was...

Nice modern truck stop just 15 miles from the loves right off the highway.

The store is clean, the lot is clean. There’s a nice friendly Labrador wandering around.

About 15 spots to park, this is a really nice quiet stop to get some sleep. There’s a road behind the store you can wander and stretch your legs away from traffic.

There is also a Mexican restaurant next door that was open late, and had good food.
