Potential shopping at this furniture store is highly tainted by the less than mediocre treatment as a renter for their available "cabins", which are little more than trailers with wood siding. Extremely small for 2 people. The futon in the living room area was horribly constructed and uncomfortable, both for sitting to watch t.v., and worse for sleeping. The stuffing was "bunched" & wasn't uniform; the fabric was rough and did not fit properly. This unit is equipped with a very small hot water heater: you can not wash your dishes and take a shower within near use of each other. The stackable washer/dryer shakes the entire trailer on the spin cycle. There are agressive carpenter bees infesting the entire exterior, dripping lines of sawdust & excretions on all of the windows. The WI-Fi is the worst: do not plan on using a computer with expectations of responding to internet requests or needs consistently. One router is used to service several units connected by coaxial cables across & above the ground. There were unsupervised children and pets that would frequent neighboring yards, who were definitely in peril had they slipped down the unguarded and open slope to the swiftly running river. Combined with the unannounced deep trenching and digging for which construction took place, destroying a private, backyard area; minimizing the ability to park or safely move a vehicle in the mud and rain-filled deep caverns which had been excavated to bury electrical lines, that had also been laid above ground and to eliminate an on-going problem with standing water. The front door was wider than the porch width making it difficult for both ingress & emergency egress if required. The main door was not level, creating app. 1 inch of open exposure to the outside elements, allowing in bugs, dirt, & many "daddy long-legged spiders" which created webs on the walls, ceilings, furniture, & light fixtures. I sincerely hope that the problems cited are not a common occurrence; however, if deposits are not returned with known and cited issues which were previously discussed, the owner/management will prove themselves in direct dispute of their advertised peaceful setting with beautiful views (& much more). Their lack of interest in their liability and the comfort and safety of their tenants is appalling. Although the store seemed to have a wide assortment of furniture, it would be difficult to recommend a merchant with a side business which is inadequate & insufficient. No deposit returned with no explanation after being sent...
Read moreThis was an unplanned stop. Since we had driven past it many times we had to check it out. And what an awesome store it is. Outside they display a good choice of Adirondack and other outdoor chairs. The kind that will probably last for many years. The inside is a brightly lit huge showroom. Their specialty are rustic high end furnishings for even the most demanding taste. If you have a log cabin this is your place to shop. Or if you are just looking for that unique show piece to make your home special. I could spend the day there and spend my entire allowance for the year. But in all honesty, the items are impressive. And everything is solid wood, almost indestructible. It's nice to see that type of furniture. Great designs. All the way to the smallest pieces of deco. But don't take my word for it, experience it for yourself. No...
