I took my Kawasaki mule there due to battery not charging on 5/4/20,i get a call next day saying it needed a altrenator and it would be 235$however this was at Amazon due to Kawasaki no longer carrying them so I oked,I called the next week and was told they shipped the wrong part and it was returned and I would not have to pay restocking fee,at the same call I was asked if a mechanic had called prior to ask about a cover that was damaged ,said it had a crack in it and during removal it Broke I called back on the following Monday and was told due to the pandemic delivery would take longer, now long story short,I was called on 5/26/ and said it was ready, after waiting a few minutes upon arrival I was greeted by the service mgr ,he immediately said the oil needed changing due to containing gas,I told him it was fine when I brought it how that happen, his reply was they all do it,I was told that my bill was around $650 however the mgr said he woul reduce it,i could barely keep it running long enough to load it,he said it needed a new fuel pump, I told him I just replaced it 6 months prior and it was barely used during the months before, but he said they had order a new one and it was $33 is why it won't idle I got my granddaughters friend to drain the oil, install a new $10 filter, replace oil that I bought from James River, plus he adjusted the carb after tighten the the bolts that ware just started and left loose during repair,it runs so good now thanks to him, there was over 3 qts of oil gas mixture when it was drained, considering it only holds one qt oil,it makes me wonder that me being 70 yrs old they thought I would buy a new one,my total bill was $473.56 and yes I paid $62.79 for a new cover that they damaged, plus $285,Just in labor, the balance was for shop supplies, fuel filter, diode for charging and $30 tax. Any questions arrive from this yes I have pictures and a witness,I will never go back rest...
Read moreIf you are even considering buying a tractor, make sure you check these guys out. I met with several dealers and all of them were so proud of their equipment and supply shortages that they would not negotiate at all. Asheboro kubota was different. They still have the old fashion way of negotiating and seeing people for who they are, not just a commission for the month. You won’t be a number to them, you will be a customer. I couldn’t be more proud of the decision I made with choosing Asheboro kubota. If you get a chance to meet Joey, do it. He is amazing. Not only was he willing to negotiate a great deal but he also understood my needs so he could direct me into exactly the right tractor for my property. By the way, Joey hand delivered my tractor all the way to my place in the boonies. I’m telling you, I shopped many dealers that were a lot closer than Asheboro but it pays to extend your search area to find a great dealership like this. Their service Department is wonderful too. They will even help pick your tractor up for service and bring it back to you if you do not have means to get it to them. I can’t say enough about these folks. Buy Asheboro, you will not regret the price or...
Read moreI purchased a new Kubota DMC8540 mower from them at the beginning of the year. They where the closest dealer that could get me the mower I wanted. They where almost 4 hours away from me. The process purchasing it was wonderful. I could not pick it up till a few months later but they said that would be no problem. I gave them a heads-up that I was coming. When I got there they made me feel like I was putting them out just to load it on my trailer. No one offered to show me anything on the cutter or how to adjust it. The only time I saw the person that sold it to me is when I went to buy some spare blades for it and asked the front desk if they where there. As a side note the parts department was very nice and helpful. They let me know they could ship me any parts I needed. A day or so latter when I was trying to figure the mower out how to adjust it I called my sales person and asked if they where going to send someone out to help set it up and they said they would check and never heard back from them. So to sum it up I would get parts from them but will never buy equipment from them again. As much as the mower cost you would think you would get better...
