I started classes here for a good price but come to find that the teachers do not actually “teach”. If you were confused on anything and ask for help the teacher would tell you all the information you need is in the worksheets despite the fact that you personally might need it explained in a different way. Within the first few weeks of classes I was diagnosed with a serious medical condition that affects all major vital functions in my body and the teachers were completely unsympathetic and ignored messages from me about an extension on the due dates. Completely unprofessional, If you happen to go through a life-changing medical experience hopefully you DO NOT COME TO FCC because they don’t care! If you want to come here just know you’re paying a “good price” because you’re teaching yourself on someone else’s deadline. If this is what college is like I don’t trust anyone with a degree. Although i have had some great professors the majority of them are not looking out for your best interest. Due to covid i am currently taking online classes. They include very little instruction. Not to mention i can barely understand one of my current professors. How am i expected to understand a concept if i cant even understand the words coming out your mouth. I would suggest to anyone taking courses to contact you professors within the first few days to gain a mutual understanding of the course and how it will be taught. Waiting for my child to get out of a class that is scheduled to finish at 6:45pm and is it currently 8:00pm and the class is still going. What kind of college professor runs their class over an hour past it’s scheduled time? One with no time management skills? An incompetent one? Kamilya Khuramshina is the professor instructing this debacle. FCC has fallen a long ways when it comes to quality professors.
