I hate pupusas. I always have and thought I would always hate them. I come from a background of pupusa lovers. They made my try Hondorian, Costco, even Briria ones and I still hated them. BUT the ones here…. Beyond delicious! I decided I would only take one bite to quench my hunger on my journey home but I ended eating both in my car in their parking lot and shamelessly want back to purchase another order, ate it in my car again and washed it down with a cold refreshing horchata. We ordered the following melon juice, Sopa de Res, pupusas revueltas, tamal de pollo, tamal de elote and the tres leches. Oh man, the food was so good! I would recommend for dine in or take out, we tried both. Our server was Alex I believe and he was so helpful with his recommendations and provided us very attentive service. I got the corn flour (maise) papusas and they cheese to filling ratio was perfect. They weren’t over or under cooked. The tomato sauce and slaw that they come with were the perfect complements for them. My wife got the shrimp and rice and she loved it. She was looking forward to the leftovers for lunch.
