Royal Greens is such a great lawn care company! I love that it’s a local business and the owner is more than happy to speak with me personally. The girls in the office are so kind and helpful and the techs are thorough and great at what they do! I love that they put everything out in the open. Unlike what other reviewers are saying, I had no trouble understanding that everything automatically renews. It’s literally written on everything they send out and leave behind. They make sure to send a letter and email you multiple times. Plus they offer day before notifications which are SOOOO useful due to my dogs running in and out all day. That brings me to another plus: dog friendly! These folks love dogs and having products that are family friendly made my decision easy when first signing on. Don’t let sour reviews steer you away, because you’ll be sad you did! This company is a great one and value customer satisfaction. When I had a small issue with a weed area that just wouldn’t die, they answered my question extremely fast and even came out to spray for free! They were so nice about it, too! I have been with royal greens for at least two years for mosquito treatment.This year will probably be my last. The summer started and no treatment, after a month of no treatments, my wife called their office. She was told that we had been put on a per request basis. When she asked how this happened, they looked up my account, and it turns out my account was somehow confused with another account. These accounts didn't have the same account number or address. We made it clear we wanted and paid for monthly service. They have come out in july, of course after the fourth, and once in august. They gave up coming before labor day weekend, also they hadn't come for memorial day. They missed every summer holiday. Also, they will treat your lawn in the rain and tell you it will be alright, they have also treated my lawn on days when rain is imminent, as in already misting. They get two stars for treating my lawn a second time, when it rained the day after a storm. I thinl they give better treatment to those who take more than one service. I had Royal Greens for many years. The have a good program, but in the last few years, their service has deteriorated. Early spring applications don't get done until mid-late April (should be done in March). Worst of all, I had seeding and aeration scheduled as part of my regular program. I had to call them three times and they finally came out on October 15. October 15 is the last day of the normal seeding window for our area. They were supposed to come on Tuesday and never showed up. I had to call again and they finally came on Thursday. The technician only did the front yard, skipped the entire backyard and billed me for both. I find that incredible. Called to complain and the owner said the technician would come out Friday to do the backyard. Never showed up. Called again and the technician finally came out on Monday. Of course, by that time, we're outside of the normal seeding window and the seeding will probably do nothing.
