A hidden gem in an out of the way place that is worth going to. I truly miss places like this that used to be plentiful years ago but have been forced out by everyone’s love for electronic/virtual shopping. The folks in the store and the couple of older locals hanging talking local stuff did my heart good to know that there are still real people like this. Now about the store. Boots are plentiful and are grouped together kinda and the isles are narrow. They have a lot of hard to find models and sizes (I seen a couple size 17!) I was there for an hour and they let me poke around trying on and walking around never making me feel rushed. I chose a pair of Georgia Boots and was pleasantly surprised at the answer to my inquiry about the price as it was much lower than any price I’ve seen online. Always an awesome experience when I go to this small-town store. The staff is friendly and well educated on every product in the store. When they were out of the boot I wanted, they ordered it for me which was nice since I didn't have any other luck with any other shoe stores in Frederick, well I did, but this store had a lower price and more experienced staff. I really don't understand what Scott Miller is talking about, but I have three guesses. 1. He is either too idiotic to know what kind of shoe he is looking for or how to ask for it 2. He tried buying shoes after closing hours, which circles back to idiocy or 3. He's clearly a representative for Red Wing shoes my guess is he's all three, and just as an extra note, trying to degrade customers in to coming to this store and hoping they come into yours, produces quite the opposite reaction actually, we aren't all easily...

I needed work boots ASAP. Don't ask me how, but I lost my old work boots and needed a new pair the next day. I work in commercial/industrial construction and i may not look it, but I'm in the field at 5am everyday. I just had a horrible experience at Red Wings so I ventured to a new place. The man that helped me was so friendly and kind, complete opposite of what I had just came from. He helped me find some alternatives and sizes that may work and off to the register I go!
