I usually pay extra to buy locally but I called about a sxs and the mark-up was 10% over MSRP. Multiple Honda dealership just a little further away were selling at MSRP. I know demand is higher than supply and some dealers have to make up for lower volume but 10% mark up and not willing to negotiate is rough. I ended up driving an extra hour to another Honda dealer...
