CVS — Local services in Freeport

My review is about the pharmacy at 1853 west second street in freeport, tx 77541.My husband went into the pharmacy to ask about a over the counter medicine.The time was between 11am an 11:45 am on 3-5-2025.My husband was talking to one pharmacist an explaining what he needed when another pharmacist walked up an told him that she remembers him an that they can't help him.She is the same pharmacist who asked my husband to show his drivers license in order to use his fsa card. Out of all the stores he has been to no one has ever asked him to show id to use his own fsa card.We feel that the woman who works in the pharmacy is racist. .My husband called me upset an said he will not visit that cvs anymore because of the way he is treated when he goes there.It is upsetting that people still treat others badly because of their race.Do better Cvs pharmacy because we are all human no matter our color.My husband's question to the pharmacist was about a over the counter medicine.I don't understand how she couldn't help...

I had an appointment to have a Flu shot . Had to wait 25 minutes behind a screen. As I am waiting other people coming in for Flu shot, and some not wearing mask , are sent behind screen also sitting about 3ft from me "Not Happy about This".. Pharmacy workers not being very caution of the guide lines for social distancing . I almost walked out . was not comfortable being that close in a closed area . To top it off , after me waiting for 25 minutes, The pharmacy worker giving Flu shots starts to give Flu shot to person that just came off the street that came in after me. I give the pharmacy technician 5 stars for giving gentle vaccinations😀. The store was clean as usual, and shelves were well stocked. Id called the day before to make sure they were still giving vaccinations and the lady clued me in on the best time. Ok, ok its only times also as they close for lunch 1-2. They administer vaccines from 10-1 and 2-close. The Technician went over which was available to me and explained any possible side effects for each of them . I received 1 in each arm with no side effects in my part other than slight bruise from one. CVS has been my pharmacy for years now and I see no reason to change. The staff is friendly, polite and...
