Royal River Natural Foods — Local services in Freeport

I really love this place. Great selections of produce, wellness, bulk, and more!!! I especially want to remark on how the prepared foods section keep upping their game. Today I got a veggie burrito which I have done several times in the past. I haven't particularly loved them before but they were satiating in that they filled me up and weren't terrible. Today was a different story! I don't remember these having spanish rice in them before but today I was blown away by the flavors. Not only that but the burrito was really thick, like twice the size of all the others I've had in the past for the same price. I don't know who decided on these changes, but two thumbs up, friends!! As a chef, who has managed Delis/Prepared Foods Departments in grocery stores I am really liking what's going on here. Keep up the great work!!! I love Royal River. They have a really large selection of organic local items from dairy to meats and cheeses, produce, snacks, beverages etc. Everything is always fresh and beautiful and inviting. The employees are always present and ready to help you find anything. They have great selection of prepared foods and a little cafe area to eat and visit. They have a rewards program so I get a discount each time I shop. I'm trying to eat only organic whenever possible and they make it pretty possible for about anything I need and/or want. Great, well equipped natural food store. Even carrying hard to find items like raw cow and goat milk. Prices are sometimes slightly on the high side but that's to be expected in Freeport, and they aren't unreasonable. Plenty of parking and a large easy to spot sign make this an easy stop for tourists and locals alike. Royal River has a super friendly and knowledgeable staff.
