Sidner Ice Arena — Local services in Fremont

I normally do not leave reviews on anything. This absolutely was such an awful experience that I have to leave this review. We were visiting from out of town for a hockey tournament. I was approached by a member of the staff and without any explanation she began screaming at me. I realize that their are covid requirements at many of the rinks. As a doctor I completely respect the health issues. I just would like to be treated respectfully. This is not a place where you should expect to be treated with any respect. She harassed me and another father on the team. Instead of nicely explaining the rules she screamed at me in my face...so much for social distancing. She also used profanity in front of children! If you can avoid this rink I would! The staff is disrespectful and does not know how to treat people. I will also be reporting this to the youth hockey...

Ice is always rough on public skate days. Usually only 3 to 4 public skate days a month with only a few hours of public skating available on ther public skate days. No staff on the ice to keep some of the kids from being so rude and using vulgar language. My kids and I love ice skating but this facility does not offer enough days and times for the public to partake. Extremely disappointed in this facility...

1 new sheet of ice. Small lobby, snack bar with decent selection. Rental skates, and skate sharpening if attendant is available. Staff friendly, but not always helpful, or available.
