Beware of over charges!!! I went to go get 5 Tacos which are a dollar a piece from the birra taco place inside the market and grabbed two Gatorades that were on sale for 2 for 5.50. When I was rung up the total was 14.95. I asked the 23 year old who was working the register prior to paying why it was so much when together it should be 12 dollars after taxes.

He attempted to gaslight me and say it was because of taxes and tried to go back to flirting with one of the tacos lady's. I let it go and paid for it but asked for an itemized receipt which the 23 year old gave me (I know his age because this was a topic of discussion while he was flirting).

The itemized receipt had 3 no tax items on it listed as 1.29, 1.49 and 6.25, then there was a 5 dollar charge listed as wine and a 50 cent charge for using card followed by a tax amount of 0.42. When I pressed him on it he looked surprised and then yelled for a manager before giving me 2 dollars back in change because he knew he got caught and called out!

Scammy and scummy. Do not trust the cashier's and check your receipts. Tacos are great but the staff running the market are not...

I was looking for black eyed peas I was sent to the dry bean area I was happy at first because there was a wide variety of beans but to my dismay they had every bean in the world except Black eyed peas I was just glancing at some of the various items on their shelves and noticed that most if not all were from the dollar store but in this case this establishment marked their dollar products from the dollar store up to 99 cents so something I could buy at Dollar store was actually a $1.99 here at the store I would not recommend shopping here if you want same items they have here I would rather drive down the street to the 99 cent store...

I have been to this Meat Market several times before and the meat was some what ok, but today I can say That I was very highly disappointed in their quality. The Carne Asada was so old that it was close to being rotten, I Cooked a piece and almost threw up! The chicken itself had a disgusting smell to it also. So I wrapped it all back up and straight to the cashier !! I got my 70 something dollers I paid him, but thought to myself 😒 🤔 hmmm how many ppl have received this meat that's rotten and because they probably can't smell ( because of Covid ), eat it without even knowing it ....
