Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Fresno

The place was unclean. Listed at the entrance to the building, it indicated handicapped accessible, which I found challenging to maneuver with a cane, and no specific spot designated for disabled customers. Staff did their basic “job” without effort to converse with customers. When handling money at the cash register, I did not see the employee wash their hands before serving another customer. Cash is dirty and can pass viruses and bacteria to the next guest. I did not notice any hand sanitizer available, and the bathroom was dirty and not wheelchair accessible. I ordered the Birthday-Style ice cream in a cup and only managed to take a few bites. The ice cream was chalky and more like cottage cheese texture than a creamy, favorable smooth ice cream. Paying a premium price for a quality scoop of ice cream was disappointing. I did bring it to the attention of one of the workers and asked if Baskin and Robbins had an established quality control method. She did not know, so I asked if she would check the date on the ice cream I ordered. She indicated, “It was good” until December 2025. There was no indication of the manufacturer's production date. In general, 5-gallon containers of ice cream sold in a shop start to lose their quality 1-2 months after opening. I was surprised when I brought my container to the employee; there was no recognition of my experience with the poor quality of the ice cream. No, I would like to try something different or offer a refund for old, stale ice cream. When I asked if I could get the owner's or manager's name, I was told they could not give out personal information. I then asked if she could ask the manager to call me, and she wrote down my information on paper. I then asked who would call me and by whom, and she did not know. On the way out, I took several pictures. One was a Certification of the facility “Access Certified” by a state organization. No part of the sign was completed. I guess Fresno does not give Grades A like other cities and stated that it complies with this. This little hole-in-the-wall baskin robbins brings up familiar childhood memories. There were free ice cream days. There was a day a childhood friend was all grown up working, and there was the days I went in with my fiancee. This ice cream shop is a simple place to get ice cream. If you have the time, then definitely stop by. This neighborhood is a great place. There is no other baskin robbins in the united states that makes me feel this way. I’m am very happy with their services. When I ordered my Fortnite fish fishstick character for fortnite the employee mentioned that they couldn’t do the eyeballs popping out of the cake and i was expecting the fish eyes to not stick out, i was expecting the eyes to be flat since i was told they couldn’t do it. just to be flat and when my husband picked up the cake and got home the eyes were popping out!
