Triumph TCG — Local services in Fresno

I wanna start out by saying that this shop is the most down to earth and honest hearted shop in the Fresno area. It is truly a card shop owned by a fellow player and enthusiast. Steve (owner) has no problem telling you that when he decided to start his company he wanted to make a place for the card community that he wish he had when he was actively playing. A place that had product that was affordable; organized making it easier for collectors/players; and an environment that was conducive to playing the games that we all love. This shop will ALWAYS sell sealed product at MSRP which is nice because with the current market of certain tcg it can change in a blink but knowing that it will stay at MSRP is always reassuring; and for all single products they go in relation to current TCG value. I 100% recommend this shop for your TcG needs as well as local tournaments. Current tournaments weekly are Pokémon, DBZ, One piece, Lorcana and Digimon and starting up soon will be Star Wars. I been going to this card shop for a good year and a half now and I must say, this shop have a great atmosphere for trading cards enthusiasts(whether you’re a collector or a player). The owner and employees are super chill and do their best to assist you on getting whatever you looking for. Sealed products, card accessories, and singles(they have good varieties). I encourage those who looking for a specific product or single to talk with the owner, he’ll let you know whether or not he can hook you up with the specific stuffs you’re looking for. Unless it’s an extremely vintage specific product or single(hard to get/hard to look for). Example: Pokémon base set 1st edition holographic rare Charizard. Yeah no, you understand why. Overall however, this shop is a 10/10 would highly recommend for me, if you’re a trading card game enthusiast(collector or player alike) you’ll love this...

Overall, it felt like this business was just out to make money and my experience was nothing but unpleasant.

First off, this shop charges based on listed prices plus shipping, even for cards they have on hand. Going off of shipping and listed prices instead of market prices raised the amount I had to spend a significant amount. This is unheard of at almost anywhere. Maybe I could have looked past it, but on top of that, they weren’t willingly to compromise at all even though I was buying a good amount of cards.

When I questioned it, they said not to come to Pokémon stores if I wasn’t willing to spend money. They also tried to guilt trip me by saying they’re a small business, even though the place was full of players and customers.
