Christine Poska and Mierka ((nurse) sorry if I spelt your name wrong) are always so thorough and friendly- I feel they do care about others and it shows by their consistency and service. Been coming here for years and before that I followed from C.Poska’s last location. I always feel like they care and help empower me to make decisions about options. Never had a problem with any of the people in this building, and I’ve always had a good visit because of how friendly everyone is. I visit a couple times a year.
Hospitals are busy and serve a lot of our community- please arrive early, put requests in early and be kind.. Healthcare offers assistance but it is always up to you to advocate for yourself. Some of these reviews are a little wild to me.. My experience has been that as a whole: the lab techs excel. Front desk staff? Chefs kiss. The practitioners? Nothing but good things to say. Sure I’ve had to wait before but I’m not above others. It’s never excessive. I feel there are enough options here between virtual visits and in-person customer service that most things are easily addressed unless it truly is out of their control but then I still get given recommendations and other options.
Fairview has been my clinic of choice since I was young, always has good communication and mychart is easy to navigate. Their pharmacy is fast, beyond friendly, has excellent customer service and keeps stuff in stock. I’ll drive a little farther to know they actually have what I need and that they’ll be kind back to me. Grateful to all the employees and the people who keep this place clean! It is...
Read moreI needed to establish care with a new eye doctor and was seen by Dr. Steven Rizzi for a routine eye exam and an updated prescription earlier this year. My husband and I enjoy coming to the Fridley clinic and usually never have a problem. But, I had a terrible experience with him. He spent about only 10 minutes with me, rushing through our conversation and my concerns. He gave me the impression that my time was not valuable to him, and seemed somewhat annoyed at me. After my first eye exam with him, I went back in to get adjusted for my contacts, in which my experience with him was the same. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, hoping that this second experience would be better, but it was the same. I felt unable to be honest with him about my concerns. I felt judged for my questions and even racially profiled by him. I knew I was never coming back at this point. I remember regretting coming back to him for a second time. I eventually ordered glasses from the prescription he gave and after trying them on, the prescription was way too strong for my eyes. I went to a local target optical to check if my intuition was right and got my prescription readjusted, in which the eye doctor there confirmed that the initial prescription was way too strong for my eyes. I'm so disappointed by Dr Rizzi. I do not recommend this provider to...
Read moreMy daughter (19) had an appointment this fall at the Fridley Clinic for a bump on her lip - it came & went for well over a year. It was not present when she finally got into see the specialist... her appointment took less than 20 minutes. They wanted to schedule another appointment. I went up to the receptionist when my daughter came out - We asked to talk w/ the doctor. Either be given more direction/tests/anything - or not be charged for this appointment. The receptionist (totally giving me a brush-off attitude) gave me a card to call... it was an answering machine. I got a call from a really nice woman the next day. She listened very empathically/sympathetically. Three weeks later we received a letter saying the billing was correct. WHAT A SYSTEM... totally streamlined to get us out of the clinic and into a queue designed to make us feel better than give us the financial shaft. /// My 19 yr old was charged $411 for a 17 minute appointment. This is absolutely immoral and should be criminal. To charge a 19 year old like this with no warming ... not sure how they live w/ themselves. I hope they are visited by...
