Nice clean store Except for when it rains, there’s about three places in the roof that leaked down on the floor and on customers while shopping Nasty stuff coming out of the ceiling, one right over the chicken and meat department Coolers and getting down on the meat and case wish they would sell prime meat and premium meat all they carry right now is choice. Select in Mexican beef and Beef from Brazil, and other places First got too much fat too much gristle doesn’t taste well doesn’t look appealing and usually has like a funky smell Like sulfur to it. And it doesn’t cook up very well and very Chewy And Tough And it usually starts turning in a day or two after cutting it and packaging it and now since there best Meat cutter Daniel has left and transferred to another store it’s gotten worse meat Case was always full and look great like at Publix and customer service there has gone downhill to and can’t get meat cut like you want and it looks bad like the meat case and the meat manager has no help and hard for him to keep up with cutting customers and everything else he has to do and store manager doesn’t care or help him out Neither does anyone else who works there all they do is stand around and complain and do nothing to fix or help the situation and or Clean up the store and fix it And I have something done about the roof where it leaks Every time it rains and not only where the customers can see it, but also in the back in the stock room, and in the meat department itself water leaking from the ceiling in the roof and onto the floor in the meat department and onto the cutting blocks And equipment and all the employees while they’re there working It’s unsafe and it’s unhealthy and I believe State violation And the department of health and agriculture should know about this Because who knows what’s getting on the food or in the food When the water is leaking through the ceiling in the roof on the food on the cases, and all the cutting blocks and equipment in the meat department, unsafe,...
Read moreI went into the new store today and have to say it was top notch! The makeover is beautiful but the real winners... The employees. Usually places I go no one wants to help and you're kind of left to your own devices but...The cashiers are the front man of this operation. First ones you see walking in and the last experience you have walking out. Two in particular Dominic and Harry were amazing. Their customer skill level was very inviting and friendly. But let's not forget the employees working around the store making sure shelves are stocked, you are helped, and keeping the place clean. Everyone that I came in contact with was pleasant and willing to help if I needed anything. I wish I knew everyone's names so they could all get credit. Before I left I asked to speak with Mark the night manager. And like his employees was very kind. I wanted to tell him about my experience and how much I love Winn Dixie. I'm not going to lie it has been a while since I've been there (no fault of their own). But it was a great trip to get groceries. This was truly a human experience. And this will be...
Read moreWinn-Dixie has been around quite for a long time, I remember working there and the minimum wage was $1.10 an hour and seeing Winn-Dixie grow as it has the quality of groceries there and the variety you have to choose from is immaculant and I'm offers some of the finest quality of beef which is hand cut still meaning they cut their meat fresh in the store and serve some of the finest vegetables along with local fresh fruit from the great state of Florida as both are vegetables the same there are fresh from the grounds of the great state of Florida and you can't get any better or fresher than that. So when visiting St Johns County in St Augustine Florida or any place in the state of Florida Winn-Dixie is a grocery store that goes above and beyond when they state are vegetables fresh and our beef and Seafood is fresh and cut and I know personally it's fresh because you're surrounded by the ocean, the Atlantic Ocean and of course we have also Gulf of Mexico, so when visiting or relocating to live here always remember when Dixie offers what they stand by and what they state, Winn-Dixie the beef...
