Master Wok — Restaurant in Florida

We were super excited to check out Master Wok. The prices were awesome, and it was really close to my house. The two gentlemen working and the girl answering the phone were very kind. But… Wow, what a huge letdown! The food was just bad. We ordered five things, and the only okay item was the egg roll, which wasn’t even that great. I got a LARGE hot and sour soup, and it tasted like a big bowl of vinegar with a couple of mushrooms floating in it. The pepper steak was mostly raw green peppers, the chicken with garlic sauce tasted like straight vinegar as well. Maybe my taste buds were burnt from the soup but my husband who didn’t eat the soup wouldn't even eat his food because of the taste. So...

I only gave 1 start to this place food. I ordered a bourbon chicken with fried rice and egg roll. What a disappointment. Instead of chicken they add green peppers onions and carrots to the extreme. Please see the picture. And I already eat a few green peppers chunks. The cooker should know how to chop the peppers smaller, don’t leave it in such a huge chunks, as well as the onions and should know to put less. Of course they a cheaper than the chicken. Also they were uncooked and raw. So, basically I paid per chunks of raw green peppers. Not recommended. Drive a little further to the Publix in Middleburg and get a Chinese food from the place in that plaza. Excellent place,...

I haven't eaten here for quite some time now due to the previous owners, thought the food was mediocre and the service was horrible. I heard they had new management so I figured I would give them a try I checked the latest reviews... Some good some bad but I like to form my own opinion. I thought the food was outstanding, it's a little pricey now with the new management but it was very good it was the best kung pao chicken I've had in years, steamed dumplings were perfect and the dipping sauce was outstanding.
