My all-time favorite trail. I've been hiking up Bair Canyon since 1998. Went all the way to the top at Francis peak in 2010 and back down again. Home of the infamous Bair Gutsman every August. There's a beautiful Creek that flows all the way down from the top, and you cross over the creek about 3 or 4 times. If you get up high enough there's a beautiful scrub oak Forest and ferns everywhere. Well worth the...

My all-time favorite trail. I've been hiking up Bair Canyon since 1998. Went all the way to the top at Francis peak in 2010 and back down again. Home of the infamous Bair Gutsman every August. If you get up high enough there's a beautiful scrub oak Forest and ferns everywhere. Well worth the hike every time.

I love this trail so much!!! It's super beautiful, albeit dangerous in certain places all along, so you have to be aware and careful as you tread. I would totally, like, build a treehouse and live here but for the steep cliffs and such.

This is a steep parking lot to get to. Beware of low hanging hitches or low profile cars and just use the circle. Great trail, but very steep.
