My husband and I got married in August of 2020 at The Old Saco Inn in Fryeburg, Maine and chose Ali from Lemon & Tulips to be our florist for our wedding! I can't say enough amazing things about Ali! She is truly an artist, professional, creative, and SO easy to work with! When I first met with Ali about a year before my wedding I showed her my colors and told her my wedding theme was boho and she absolutely created my dream AND unique flowers for my wedding! Seriously, my bouquet was everything I dreamed of and more!! Her flowers are what truly tied everything in my wedding together. Everything was perfectly created and original, from my flower crown, the bouquets, boutonnieres, arbor, centerpieces, and doggie collar. I think it was 3 years ago I stopped at the florist in Fryeburg to purchase a single long-stemmed red rose to lay at my husband’s grave. I had been doing that during my annual visit since 2013. I live in California. The shop had changed hands, and Ali had transformed the shop into a lovely place with unusual and unique gifts and arrangements. During this particular visit, I decided that I would ask if I could arrange for plants to be put on my husband’s grave for 5 months a year (June through October). Ali now prepares 2 hanging baskets a month, and places them on my husband’s and my parents’ graves. She sends me an invoice and a photo. Alexzandria of Lemon and Tulips made all of my wedding dreams come true. For starters, she was very fast to respond to any and all questions or concerns. She eased my mind with multiple phone calls and truly listened when I tried explaining to her what I envisioned on Sam and I’s wedding day. After talking logistics and counting down the days to our wedding, she kept me updated with pictures of flowers and other small details when she didn’t have to- she chose to.
