The Village at Marquee Station Apartments — Local services in Fuquay-Varina

Allie is great, she related to issues that arise and tried to do what she can. However, I feel one person can only do so much especially when others work different days and don’t always follow up as well. Upon our arrival, our apartment had not been cleaned following the construction of the upgraded apartment. We walked in and the floors were practically black. Of course it was a Saturday so there were no cleaning crews on sight. All of our cleaning supplies were in our moving truck still 2 hours out. I couldn’t put my 1 year old on the floor to accomplish anything. We ended up having to go to Walmart to purchase $120 worth of cleaning supplies in order to clean the apartment prior to our moving truck arriving in order to move our stuff in and have the place cleaned to even be livable. Apartment staff solution was to schedule a cleaning crew to come in on Monday after we already cleaned the entire apartment top to bottom. This obviously didn’t resolve anything and never happened because they refused to enter with my mini dachshund roaming the apartment. So be it, okay we let it go because no other accommodations were being offered or suggested. Then we had the issue of our laundry room having a waterfall from the ceiling. A pipe came loose from the apartment above us being worked on. This put us out of our laundry room along with all of our stuff being placed in the middle of the hallways with no where else to put it. This process took 2 weeks. We had to leave for the weekend with the noise and heat of the humidifiers as it was a disruption that didn’t allow my 1 year old to sleep through. The complex did what they could to be on top of the issue. However after this occurred, we had severe issues with sewer flies and they still continue! Pest control came out and sprayed but didn’t resolve anything. The day after pest control came for the sewer flies, we had swarms of ants. We didn’t get much response in regards to the ants which were in our bathroom and our 1 year Old’s bedroom that is not an outer wall. Due to the lack of response, we took it upon ourselves to spend $100 on getting the ants controlled. Once we sprayed the bathroom, the ants moved through the walls and swarmed further in my 1 year olds bedroom and our living room. Our 1 year old had 3-4 ants literally crawling on her! We were fed up. We reached out again and we were put on the list for pest control. Pest control wouldn’t enter with our dog yet again even though they entered last time with our dog roaming. However we didn’t know any of this until we went to the office to question whether or not someone came out. So again we took matters into our own hands. We now no longer have ants but to no assistance with the complex themselves. We expressed still having the issue with the sewer flies and that we even found a larvae sac and dirt in our master bath toilet. Pest control came out again. To no avail, pest control has not worked with sewer flies. The water smells. We determined that either something is severely wrong with their water pipes or their water is actually well water which they state it is not. All of this has occurred in only a 2 month period. We really had hoped that this experience would be better than we have endured especially for paying $1500 a month. We had hoped that this experience would improve but it has not and no accommodations or productive resolutions have been suggested...

UPDATED 7/13/2024 I have contacted the office about the kids terrorizing the community. I did get a response that the parents were going to be contacted. Yeah I don't think that ever happened because it's getting worse. It states that no child under 18 is supposed to be out without an adult. These kids are running up and down the stairs with no supervision. I believe nothing is going to be done about this until a child comes up missing. These children are doing this after 9 a'clock at night. If parents are seeing this please watch your children. But not only that someone around here are taking deliveries that you have delivered to your apartment! I am seeing more and more Rings being put up at people's doors. I hope people are seeing this because this is not a SAVE community. I am sure I am going to have more and more updates to this post.

Update 5/31/2024. So I posted in January 2024 and then reposted in the middle of May 2024 and came in to the office in December 2023 about my vehicle and you all are PUZZLED!!!!??? I am puzzled and VERY DISAPPOINTED in this COMMUNITY as you call it. The only reason you are somewhat reaching out now is because I reposted the review. You have my information to contact me. Now my next post is the kids running around terrorizing this so called community. I have been here for a year and half and just now had to reactivate my ring because of the kids. I know people are seeing my post that live here because they have told me they have. For anyone looking for some place to live go elsewhere!!!!

NOT A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE!!!! BEWARE!!!! My husband just posted a comment and I would post the same 0 STARS if I could choose that. Not a good experience living here. I do not feel safe now since another of our property has gotten broken into. What's going to happen next our apartments being broken into?? Don't get me started on the sprinklers system that discolored our 2018 vehicle. And when you call if someone answers or try to go in and talk to someone if they're in the office they don't care. Or you get a response to EMAIL your complaint. REALLY!! THEY don't care at all. They just want to charge fees and top of fees that add up BIG time. BEWARE!!!! Photos attached is what the sprinklers system did to my vehicle. The paint is ruined and only had the vehicle less...

UPDATE: So.....we moved to another state for two years and we are lucky to be back in NC. Our first point of action was to come back to Marquee and see if we could find a lease. I was expecting it to be rather simple to re-apply but would have never thought how easy and fast it was. It was fantastic to see Ally, Leo and the rest of the staff still here, it was like coming home, it feels like home. Great staff, all the amenities and apartments are in great condition as always. Maintenance requests are taken care in no more than 24 hrs. Our family would not go anywhere else, place is amazing.

PREVIOUS REVIEW Absolutely love this place! We lived at Marquee Station for 3 years with nothing but the best experiences ever. From the amazing leasing office team to all the maintenance crew. We never had to wait on any service requests, amazing finishes to the apartment, great appliances and top notch amenities. My children could not feel safer and enjoyed their time there. So many great memories and loved the pool. Can’t beat the location either, just right. I would highly recommend Marquee Station to anyone. Just one example, at one time we were late to the bus stop to pick our kids and called the leasing office if they could help us picking the kids up to which they went out of their way to do so and kept them entertained while we got home. Our six year old twins miss it...
