I have loved Culvers until now. Visited Saturday at 3pm. Ordered cheese curd and small concrete. Was promptly given cheese curds and a small dish of ice cream. Staff was nice and realized the error and asked me to pull forward. After 20 mins in line waiting for a small concrete and no one else left waiting I had to call the store to remind them I was still waiting outside. They were so nice and gave me a small card for a treat in the future. Fast forward to Tuesday night (yep, 3 days later) I think I will give them another try. So at 6:47pm I place my order of one flavor of the day and one small concrete and cheese curds. I am handed the cheese curds and what they promised was the flavor of the day but it looked like vanilla. Told to pull forward and they would bring the concrete right out. 25 mins later and once again the drive through is empty except me. I had to pull forward because a large SUV beeped and received their food and wanted to leave. Over 10 orders filled and no one comes back out. The drive through waiting lanes have cleared and no one left but me. I put the car in park and approach the door. The staff seem shocked. Imagine that! As I tell them 30 mins is too long to wait for a concrete unless you are freezing the custard. I stand at their service door, the person who seems to be in charge announces loudly "Meals are taking about 20 mins." I responded that I had not ordered a meal and only was waiting for a concrete. I asked her to take the one that had now become sweet milk and just refund my money. She (possibly the manager) asked me what the flavor was. If it was correct to begin with she likely would have known. If you have to look at the cup and ask me then it definitely wasn't chocolate or raspberry cheesecake. You guys were great when you first opened. This seems crazy to happen twice in 3 days and I am treated like I did something wrong. I am forced to break up with Culvers. It's just too hard to maintain this relationship. I mean who has 30 minutes to sit in the drive through line when there are so many awesome projects at work waiting for my attention? Oh and also, thanks so much for making my holiday diet plan easy to stick with. I mean, you didn't have to be so rude about it. For the love of all that is good, I certainly hope your really did refund my charge from tonight. If tomorrow rolls around and I wake up hangry and the charge is still on my card I will not be pleasant, quiet or nice in person, just ask my teenager. Hope you figure out where the problem is and correct it, otherwise a lesser person would take this personal. I would have given you a 1/2 a star but it wasn't an option. I really needed a restroom break and I had to go to the door to let you know we couldn't continue this relationship. Who knows how long I would have been strung along if nature hadn't called. This is not a joke. I really am upset, just trying to give you a bit of grace and mercy. It was more...
Read moreTonight was the worst customer service we have ever had at this Culver's. We go here at least 3 times a month and now we will be going back to Clayton where we never had a problem with customer service. We wanted ice cream and we brought our daughter who has never been there and she definitely won't be back. The manager Jason was rude to my daughters & myself then my husband got up to speak with him and when we told him how awful our service was his reply "it is what it is!". An employee a girl was yelling at employees and cussing. All the employees were fighting with each other. I will say our cashier Margo was very nice though. We came in got 2 concrete mixers the brownie and 1 reeses pieces, a chocolate milk shake and a cone. 1st my husband's milkshake was watery but he drank it. Got 2 mixers with brownies went up to tell them made 2 more with brownie pieces. It wasn't even busy either. By the 3rd one which was runny didn't look like a mixer we had enough and mentioned something to manager. He said some stuff about it is a mixer just blended and that it looked like a shake but that it was a mixer. I asked for a mixer that I paid for and he said " we have made 3 and this all your getting!. Well maybe if they made it correct first time there would be no problem. I mean it wasn't even busy 3 people max ordering food. We walked away my husband said we won't be back and he didn't care. Paid 17$ and yes that is alot of money these days for 4 items 1 was runny and 1 was wrong 3 times. So much for customer appreciation. We said this was the worst visit ever and again his reply "it is what it is!"....
Read more10/5/24 Tonight, we stopped in for a quick meal, and we were greeted and waited on by Sam. We had met him previously and he was just as friendly and patient as before. He definitely is an asset to the Culver's Team! He is personable and attentive. Sadly, these have become rare qualities in most teenagers, but not Sam! He deserves a raise/promotion!!! The North Atlantic Cod sandwiches always taste fresh and are very filling. Tonight, we upgraded to cheese curds, instead of fries. They were really good! It's easy to see why they are always busy. Good, fresh food and friendly staff!!! We'll definitely continue to dine here!😃
We have been coming to Culver's since it first opened and we love it! Staff and managers are always very welcoming and friendly. If something is not right, they always make sure to fix it! Today my Dad ordered an ice cream soda, but apparently there was a misunderstanding and was served a scoop of vanilla custard. When questioning it, I noticed that it was called a root beer float and told the team member that we would make sure we order it correctly next time. He wanted to give us one, but I said no , it's ok...next time. After I went back to the table and explained to my 83 year old Dad what had happened, he understood. To our surprise and my Dad's pleasure, the same team member brought my Dad his root beer float! I wish I had gotten his name, but I was caught up in the moment 😕. Thank you for making my Dad happy. We recently lost my mom and just getting him out of my house is often a struggle, so tonight's gesture was truly...
