Food Lion — Local services in Gaffney

I've checked all the grocery store in Cherokee County. I think Food Lion is the cheapest. With that said This review is for Food Lion in Blacksburg SC. This is my favorite store to go to and here's why. I'm total disabled from rheumatoid arthritis. There are days I am unable to walk even into the store to use their electric wheelchairs. On these days all I have to do is call and let them know what parking space I mean and they will bring it out to me. They always ask if I need help getting my groceries and sometimes I do. Which they help without complaining. They ask how I'm doing, or how my husband or kids are. What's odd is they remember what I say. For example once they asked where's my husband, I explained not feeling well. Days later they ask was he better yet. I don't know these people outside from this store. And before COVID I always got what I came for as long as I could remember it. Great sales too. Buy 2 get 1 or BOGO only need one...

Food Lion is my favorite place to shop for my grocery and household needs. Our town has a very clean, well organized grocery with fully stocked grocery aisles as well as a fresh produce section, a delicious in house bakery and adult beverage section. Food Lion offers fresh deli meats and cheeses along with a variety of breads and pastries. Birthday cakes to order and other cakes fresh and ready to go. The dairy section is well stocked and maintained with a wide variety of each type of dairy offered. The manager of the dairy section, I've found, is knowledgeable, friendly and goes out of his way to accommodate. Management throughout the store along with the helpful staff is exceptional! WOW ! Just take a look at these N.Y.strip stakes from the great butcher shop at Food Lion in Blacksburg S.C.! I asked the butcher if he could cut me some thick ones as the steaks on display were thin. His only question was how big do you want them! As usual there was no problem at all here at my very favorite Food Lion grocery store! I watched though a glass window as he hand carved this masterpiece for me ! I honestly think that this guy loved his work as he grinned all the way through his chore! This guy is a credit to Food Lion and one of the main reasons that I travel 10 miles out of my way to shop here! Once again I'm very impressed and recommend the Blacksburg store to the public !!!!!...
