Speyer's Farm Market — Local services in Gaines Charter Township

For about the past 5 years, I have only come to Speyer's for all my flowers, fruits, veggies and also soil. Their product always has great quality and lasts all summer and into fall. Plus, they almost always have what I need and IF they don't, just ask and they will tell you when more will be ready. Their employees are constantly restocking so sometimes all you have to do is ask. Even today when I went, one of the employees was stocking shelves and I noticed something on her cart that was beautiful and asked where I could find them. She told me that I could just take them off her cart because there weren't any of that particular color out on the shelf yet. They always have a very kind and helpful staff! All my fruits and vegetables grow VERY well in organic soil and I've always been impressed with the continuous abundance of what their plants produce. Forget the large corporate greenhouses like Countryside and go to Speyer's instead! Well worth it. Great place to get flowers and plants for your landscaping! Speyer's has been my go-to place for the past couple of years. They have a beautiful selection and are well stocked. If there is something that they do run out of, they will get it back in stock usually within a couple of days. The staff are very knowledgeable and can answer your questions, such as what plants go well where or what plants work well together. My roommate and I go to Speyers several times every year, my roommate has COPD so she stayed in the car because nearly every employee was walking around without a mask on. One employee had a mask but she wore it like a necklace instead of putting it on her face and protecting those around her. Speyers has a lot of elderly customers that they seem to care little about.
