Horton's Supermarket — Local services in Galax

I always love going into this store because it is a ma and pops grocery store. One thing I will warn about is their prices. On several items they are expensive. Horton's does not have a weekly ad, so you never know what is going to be on sale. I wish that they would come out with one even if it's only to post on their Facebook page to make it cost efficiently. Sometimes, horton's will run a 3 day meat sale and you can get good deals on meats when that happens. The store is clean and friendly staff. My favorite thing to go here for is their pies. We have never had a problem there with any form of payment. Then today if all days. The short haired skinny lady decided to our take our payment to the off they called my bank and because they did ask me if there was any form of security on my account. The thr lady embarrassed me by saying it was a bad payment. The the big bearded. Man came Came out and got the money back to our card and . We have been going there for years.
