A Breaker on our furnace kept tripping so we called Neil Thomas, we were told the problem was a bad breaker. I called after several days of not hearing anything, and they said they could not get the breaker and thought our builder had put an old furnace in our house that is less than 3yrs old. They recommended a new furnace. When we didn't go for that Dennis recommended doing other repairs. Called Amana and gave them our serial number, they verified our furnace was new. Amana said there was a claim for a new motor and other parts made by Neil Thomas for our warranty. They did not install these parts. Next, they put in a breaker by a different manufacturer, which didn't fit so they had to cut our new furnace cabinet and left the cover which no longer fit laying off to the side. We had Neil Thomas Plumbing & Heating install a new A/C unit the end of May. It worked beautifully. Then about 6 weeks in it randomly stopped working. My husband called about the issue they said they couldn't come out until the next day. As that it was 90 degrees and I'm impatient/pushy I called back and had them come out that afternoon. They absolutely did and fixed the issue with in seconds. It was nothing major and the tech fixed it quickly. I was grateful they came out as quickly as they did. Let me add the issue with the unit was nothing they did wrong. A bug crawled into one of the parts restricting air. He removed the pest and our air is working perfectly. I met 2 MIT Techs ; Kevin and Hunter who came to my home to clean my furnace , motor . Disassembly , cleaning reassembly takes thoughtful, meticulous work . I was so impressed by their conscious awareness of my privacy , cleanliness , and their kind & considerate manner as they went about their work . They left my home in a clean , warm manner after testing thermostat for accuracy . I was impressed by their confidant smiles, answering my questions and concerns .
