Iron Vault Distillery — Local services in Galion

My wife and it took a tour and LOVED the experience. We got the inside look on all aspects of how thier spirits are concocted. We saw the grain, the yeast, and even the water. The family at Iron Vault made us feel welcome as we stood in the middle of their operation. We were able to sample their products, the moonshine is phenomenal and their wheat vodka is the best I've ever had. If you fancy darker liquor, the their Reformatory Rum is a fantastic aged rum. The town of Galion isn’t where I expected to find a hidden gem like this. However, the people at this distillery put their hearts and souls into making good quality spirits, along with perfection through painstaking trial and error to make it all work. The tour here is wonderful. So much passion goes into what they do. Their botanical-infused gin is some of the best anywhere. Their Ohio Five Grain Whiskey is the bees knees on cheddar cheese.
