I literally just went in there for a tshirt and a random lady, who I can only assume is the store owner came up to me and the people I was shopping with stating “I look just like her niece” or whoever. I can already assume I do not. I’m black by the way and it has been so long since a situation like this has happened to me. It was absolutely pathetic and sad. If she was uncomfortable with my presence I would have preferred that then the old “oh a black person let me go tell them they look just like this other black person.” I shouldn’t have spent money in there but I wasn’t going to let her ruin my day.
