My family wants to send a heartfelt thank you to the U.S. Coast Guard for the outstanding military honors they bestowed upon our father on Tuesday, July 16th, at the Houston National Cemetery.

We are eternally grateful for the military honors as it was extremely beautiful and, yes, emotional, but our father deserved it for all his years of serve.

Besides being a husband and a father of 3, our father always said serving the U.S. Coast Guard was one of the greatest moments of his life.

Thank you for all you do to protect the United States of America.

God Bless the U.S. Coast Guard...
