The rink itself is well kept but the customer service here is absolutely awful. One of the vending machines ate my money and when I told a lady up front with dark hair she asks me if it turned and I said it did a little but it never gave me the Skittles. She brings money out of the office and when I put my hand out she says, āI need to check first. (they had JUST refunded me for the air hockey table minutes before when I didnāt get the puck, and no one checked that.) At the vending machine she tells me it looks to be working but it ādoesnāt look like it turned at all. It looks like there was no money put in at all.ā I simply tell her I wouldnāt lie about $2.50 and her IMMEDIATE response is āWOAH. No need to get hostile.ā At this point Iām being profiled so I begin asking her why she would say that, what about me is hostile and all she can say is that she said it because Iām upset and I tell her Iām upset because she accused me of stealing and when I refuted that all of a sudden Iām hostile. She then proceeds to tell me I āneed to have a better day if Iām mad about skittlesā while handing them to me. I take them from her and let her know me snatching them would be hostile. Me yelling and calling her out of her name would be hostile, but me letting her know Iām not a thief in front of my 7 year old nephew is not hostile. She then tells me I can LEAVE if āthis type of behaviorā continues. I tell her Iāll be informing management of this racist interaction and she tells me she IS THE OWNER OF THE ESTABLISHMENT!!!!! I was so appalled to find out this was the level of customer service I was receiving from the OWNER. Itās one thing to ask for a manager when speaking to the manager but if I have to ask for a manager while speaking to the owner, red flag!!!!! This lady was a Karen all the way, even down to when my sister let her know weād be posting about this; she asked my sister if she was THREATENING HER??? Be careful when interacting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was invited to a birthday party here this weekend. This will be my first and last time going to this place. They served pizza and I had 2 children with me allergic to dairy so I had to go to the concessions to buy something else. It took about 35 min for them to give me chicken nuggets, mini corn dogs and a cold stale funnel cake. It was the nastiest looking rewarded food Iāve ever seen. When the girl at the counter handed me the corn dogs the plate was so flimsy when I picked it up they fell all over the floor. I asked for for more since it fell on the floor. She had me wait another 10 min and went and got the manager. I explained what happened and the manager told me they donāt give refunds or exchanges. I wasnāt asking for either. I just wanted a new batch of corn dogs since they fell on the floor before I even walked off. She again told me the policy so at that point i was annoyed and just walked off. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. also the party I attended the attendant was M.I.A. Never came by to offer any help or see if we needed anything. Whatās the point of paying for a party only to be ignored. They even got the birthday girls name wrong and kept announcing her moms name instead of the child who the party was for. This place is severely understaffed. The line to get skates was a mile long with only one attendant behind the counter. If you donāt have the staff donāt book so many parties. Spent half of the time of the party waiting to get skates. Will definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI grew up in a skating rink. I was there every weekend. I was very disappointed bringing my son to this place for his first skating experience. My main concern is safety. Staff did nothing about people literally just sitting on the skate floor causing people to fall. What makes it worse is the people doing it seemed to be employees themselves or close friends with the employees. Then people just standing at the entrances and exits. Mostly to take pictures. This caused congestion and many accidents. This was a big no no in my rink growing up. No one seemed to care here. This being my first time with my own kid, I didnt know you had to pay for the skate helpers, was not mentioned at the front. So I just grabbed one no one was using. They told me that they were going to take it away since he didn't have a wristband. I asked where do I get one? They said the front. I go to the front and ask for a band. They said go to skate counter. Go to skate counter and they said did you pay for one? I was like I was just up there and they didn't say anything about paying. I'm not going up there again with my son who is just learning with all the people up there. They ended up just giving it to me. Definitely should be mentioned up front while paying. Overall place was clean and floor was big. But definitely needs to be monitored more for saftey concerns. Employee at the skate counter was kinda rude and was definitely skating fast through crowds of people...
