UPDATE. THE OWNER JUST PRETENDED TO WANT TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I TEXTED HIM AND HE DIDN'T EVEN REPLY. HE ONLY SAID THAT TO LOOK BETTER.
I have 2 major issues with these guys. First off, I called yesterday to make an appointment for today. They guy said, "just show up at 10 when they open tomorrow and you will be first." He also tells me it will take 2 hours to install an under the seat sub.
I show up at 9:55 the next morning and end up waiting 1.25 hours just to have my car pulled in the back. After another 2 hours, I complain about it taking so long and the guy tells me they are hurrying and then gives me a story about how it is harder to install speakers these days because the breaking clips and the door panels. But I am not even getting that kind of speaker; this goes under my seat.
20 minutes later, the guy says the sub was put in the wrong direction and they have to rotate it. I am annoyed, but fine. Then, another 20 minutes later, the guy tells me that the sub still doesn't fit and will stick out some. How shows me that there is a bar under the seat and why it won't fit. I have almost been there 4 hours at that point and do not have time to move it to the trunk, so I say just make it stick out some.
But it doesn't just stick out. It almost takes up the entire space for the passenger's feet, which was stupid to even suggest to me in the first place. Especially when I was told it would stick out a little. So, I can't really have anyone sit behind the passenger with the sub there now.
These guys did not seem like what they were doing and should have told me from the beginning that the sub wouldn't fit properly. And if they didn't know, it should have been easy to figure out once the seat had been removed. So, I wasted $180 and 5 hours on this, yet will still have to pay someone to move the sub to the trunk. Read moreSo I was taken my car in to get a radio installed.I asked Omar that I wanted the wiring done nice and neet behind the radio which they told me would be 80 bucks which they did and excellent job on. I was told wiring harness would be roughly 25 bucks as well and the control unit to do the steering wheel control and backup camera which I thought was maybe another 50 bucks. So I went to pickup the car and my bill was $309.00. So I asked why so high. The control module for the steering wheel and backup camera was $150 bucks. I asked why didn't you call me first and he said we were trying to get it done. I'm sorry but that shouldn't be how busy should be done. Customer should be called. I could have lived without backup camera and steering wheel setup. So I went to pickup the car and my subs weren't working. I asked if they had test the system and just heard the door speakers come on. So I had to wait another 45 minutes and they replaced a bad rca cable and when I asked the tech why didn't test the system he gave me a dirty look.
