Read moreBizi Kovdular!
They Kicked Us Out! March 30 Sunday, 2025, on the first day of Eid, my family and guests (6 men, 3 women, and 3 children) went to a restaurant we frequently visit for breakfast. Despite the crowd, we waited patiently. At one point, my cousin decided to order a bit more. However, the owner (man) suddenly turned to him and said, “You left a bad review here before. Get out!”
We were all shocked when my cousin told us what had happened. Should a restaurant kick out a customer just because of a past review? Or should they try to win them back? We decided to ask the owner directly if this was true. Without even looking at us properly, he coldly replied, “Yes!” We responded, “Then we’ll leave.” To which he answered, “Yes, you all should go!”
It was clear that he had been holding onto his anger for a long time and chose this moment to unleash it. Sure, a bad review might upset a business owner, but is the solution really to throw out an entire family, including children, on a holiday? If you run a business, you must accept that there will be both positive and negative feedback.
This was the first time I’ve experienced something like this in the U.S. Treating a family and their guests this way on Eid is simply not good business practice. Running a restaurant isn’t just about cooking food—it’s about respect, professionalism, and how you treat your customers. They advertise their food as “Like Moms hands.” But instead of a moms hand, we were met with the owner’s anger, like a slap to the face. It was rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. If you ever consider going to this restaurant, be warned—you might be kicked out just for leaving a review. Because here, it’s not the dough, the meat, or the food that matters. If there’s no respect or business ethics, nothing else has value. Honestly, they should rename this place “The Angry Man’s Diner,” because that’s exactly what...
