I had been working with this Amazon for a month. One day I was doing my work at my work station I get a message to come to H.R. Then I am seated in a room with a manager that I have never seen who says she not sure why we are down there. A H.R. representative comes in and ask me random questions and I am happily answering her questions. And then she is like you were called her because you signed in away from the site. I have worked for many years, I have always followed the rules. At my orientation with Amazon they explained when and where you could clock in and out, I followed that to a T. Anyway I am sitting there shocked that I just been accused of something I didn't do. Me a worker that comes in does my work and go home. I usually let stuff go and choose peace but when someone accuses you of something you didn't do that is not ok. No proof was given, and I had a manager in there that had no idea what was going on or who I was so they couldn't speak up for me. Anyway I explained that I never clocked in or out in non-designated places. I only clocked in and out where I was suppose to. I don't know if H.R. accidentally accused me or accidentally chose my employee number. The H.R. personnel basically was like ok, you can go. H.R. was rude and treated me like some sort of criminal without showing me proof because I know I followed all the rules. I am 35 miles away from them as well, and several times I have been told my packages will be delayed, convenience is the key word of getting your items the next day without having to leave the house, in fact, I pay for Amazon Prime membership. Remember it’s not the fact of getting my items the day or two later, it’s when they tell you it will be here and it not show up, then tell you if you’d like, you can cancel your order. Uh no, I would have never purchased it if I wanted to cancel it. Porch bandits are alive and well and my time is valuable as I sit and wait for delivery. Are we better off to pick them up there? Recently, an Amazon delivery driver caused damage to property at our home. Unfortunately, I have found it extremely difficult to navigate Amazon’s customer service system to report the incident. Despite multiple attempts through their website, chat, and phone support, I have been unable to reach a department or individual capable of addressing property damage claims.
If anyone has experience with a similar situation or knows of a direct contact or department within Amazon that handles these matters, I would greatly appreciate your advice.
