Wake County Speedway — Local services in Garner

What can I say, but its addicting! I came to this track for the first time in 1993 and was hooked from the drop of the green flag. It has had a couple of ownership changes throughout the years, and I can say that the current owners definitely care about the spectators. Their team is always looking for ways to improve, and it shows. They also learn from their mistakes. I am sure that they will do a much better job of "renting" the track to an outside vendor when it's their name on the line. The only negative reviews were from one stand-alone event that they did not run. You would be hard pressed to find more affordable family entertainment. Action on the track starts around 6:30PM and goes to 11 o'clock! That's 4 1/2 hours of excitement. For a bonus, you can take the kids down to the pits after the races so they can meet their favorite driver. I have met several, and they are awesome to talk to! I have been to short tracks all around the country, and this is absolutely one of the most fun tracks there is. Treat yourself to a Friday night of fun and excitement! You won't be...

Wow! From the price of the tickets to the cost of food to the length and variety of races and speed of the track, this place is one of my new favorites for race tracks!

Nascar cars actually tace here and its such a fast little track it makes it super exciting! We drove 3.5 hrs across NC to get here and i was worried it wouldn’t be worth the drive but it absolutely was worth every min and mile!

The parking situation is a bit cramped but thats the least of my worries as we get everywhere a little early for many reasons.

Best seats are bleachers in front of turn 3, almost all the wrecks happened here!

There were races back to back from 7pm to 10pm! My 9 yr old an I were smiles and all eyes on the track the whole time, and had an awesome time together. Very action packed and he wasnt bored for a second!

They also have an area that all clean grass on a hill that you can sit on with your kids which we moved to the last 40 mins.

Family friendly, no play area for kids besides the grassy knoll but they wont be wanting to do anything but...

This is absolutely ridiculous! TRYING to get to the Monster Truck show! Sitting almost in front of the speedway for more then 30 minutes! No organization whatsoever. And to top it all off...I'm handicapped in a chair. My husband contacted the speedway about what type of Accessible parking they have. We were told to contact Monster Truck because the property was rented out. Monster Truck said contact the speedway, which makes sense to me! NEVER AGAIN! I don't care if it is "rented" out for the day; as owners of a venue that has a lot of events, you NEED to have Accessible parking! I can't believe the county/state doesn't require it but you can believe I'm going to look into this! We have moved an inch in over 15 minutes! So very disappointed; our first time here & you can bet our last. We love racing, new to the area...we'll go to Charlotte...
