This started out as a good deal but has since gone down hill fast. After having to return the Custom built Mac-Book Pro a cpl times and another local shop in Salisbury, MD to diagnose for me, I even went to the Apple store in Annapolis MD ( who consequently told me there was nothing they could do) The owner offered me another laptop of lower value and also an in store credit for future repairs ( $400.00 not including any hardware). I accepted the agreement even though i was very upset about the fact that i commissioned his company to build me a great Apple laptop which he assured me countless times that he was more than capable of doing! He tried to tell me it was my internet server that was the problem. When I returned to his store to have the laptop he offered me looked at due to an error message being displayed, he updated the license on the software and charged me $25.00... I reminded him of the store credit and he quickly informed me that was not going to be honored.Due to it not being a good business deal for him at this juncture. I left the store irate with every intention of contacting my lawyer and the Owner tried numerous times to contact me through text to explain why he would not honor the agreement and also offered me a I-pad as a peace offering...Really At this point my legal team is handling this issue and i will update everyone as to the outcome. In the future buyer/customer beware....
Honoring your word is not bending over backwards nor pleasing a customer. What you will not do is act as if what i have stated is not true and factual. You failed to honor an agreement and that is exactly why my Legal team is involved at this very moment. The relationship between Business Owner and Customer is one that should not be taken lightly. When agreements are made, either Verbal or written, those involved should have the moral fiber to stand behind their agreements. And not try to renegotiate their way out of a contract. UPDATE: After my legal team had to contact you, your offer of a voucher with conditions was unacceptable. The only thing requested was the original deal that you and I made while standing in my home! If your word is no good then what is. I conducted business with you and your company in good faith and I expect the same in return..That is not bending over backwards for a customer that is being a man of your word..
Update#2 Its comical how as a so-called business owner you do all you can to try and make me out as unreasonable in this matter when the whole ordeal never would have come this far if you would have only been a man of your word. I never asked you to go above and beyond to please me as a customer...( ie. bending over backwards for someone) Yes it is true after being contacted by my lawyer you relented and sent a voucher ( with conditions that i use it within your established time frame as well as, being brand specific and also that i change my review which to date has been nothing but upfront and honest.) I can appreciate the fact that now you will admit that you did fail to honor our agreement publicly sir. But the principle of the whole situation ( Doing right by someone when they trust you, Honor and integrity when doing business with someone!) is what truly matters. ALL BUSINESS OWNERS BE WARNED! YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS...
NOTE: That $600 laptop you (Gave ) me. was used and was in your inventory, Maybe $600 when it was purchased by the original owner in 2010. Which you also received the Mac Book pro in question and later refurbished and sold again....FYI: I did purchase a brand new Mac Book not long after with no issues to date.
So, as stated previously if we were not able to come to an equitable agreement I would push forward with legal action as the principle of the underlying issue is of great importance to me. Stay tuned for the final outcome in this lengthy but easily remedied...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give a half a star or even zero I would. I went to Mr. Russell to get him to fix my MacBook Air and he told me that my Motherboard for my MacBook has been fried. I stated to him that I would need a new laptop and he offered me a MacBook Pro that he had. I was willing to get the MacBook because I needed a MacBook due to my laptopās motherboard being fried, I had purchased the MacBook Pro from him July 22 For $550. When I took the laptop home, I noticed things wrong with it immediately. The S button on the keyboard When it was hit once, it would dispense 2 āSā. The touchpad for the fingerprint ID did not work. The computer ran slow and it would die on 25%. I immediately called Mr. Russell to state my problem with the computer and in response to me he said no Refunds. I then told Mr. Russell I wish he had told me that before I had purchased the MacBook from him and then he immediately hung up. He then text my phone stating that I have a $550 store credit and he has window computers that I can buy with that store credit and that it will expire in 48 hours. I then replied to Mr. Russell that I did not want a store credit and I did not want a Windows computer as stated in our phone call previously before me purchasing the MacBook. he has been now ignoring my calls and messages. My mother had contacted him, and he stated to her that he would like to go on a payment plan to pay me back and me returning his MacBook, which I have no problem doing so because Iām not using the MacBook. When my mother relayed the message to me I then contacted Mr. Russell and had drew up a payment agreement and still no response. I will be taking legal action for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was having a recurring black screen on my laptop. I was really upset and frustrated because I had just got it back from the manufacturer after sending it back to get fixed and I was having the same issue. I called Russell Monday morning, he gave me a time to drop off my laptop for that afternoon. Within minutes of dropping of my laptop he called me back and said he knew exactly what was wrong with it. I was grateful but also frustrated because the problem is what I had suspected and told the manufacturer but they said that could not have been the problem.
Russell had the laptop fix within an hour and powered it up several times to make sure I didn't have the same issue. It was fixed in record time for a reasonable price to boot!
Also this was the third time Russell has worked on a laptop of mine. He worked on my older laptop, gave me more RAM and cleaned up some processes. Also worked on my husband's laptop. He's truly the best, and a joy to work with. You leave him feeling confident that he can fix ANYTHING!!!
Thank you for your excellent customer service, professionalism and your kind soul. All the best to...
