I am a legal assistant in Wilmington, Delaware who was tasked with arranging lunch delivery for a trial team in Georgetown, Delaware for an entire week. I worked with Maranda at Georgetown Family Restaurant and checked in daily with the team. I heard nothing but compliments for the delivery on time and and all soups, sandwiches and beverages labeled with names AND EVERYONE enjoyed their food - absolutely delicious! Maranda was available to me via phone/text/email for any questions or changes and handled them with a calm, professional demeanor. One attorney told me that this was the best delivery and food experience for lunch during a trial that they had ever experienced. Now, I need to take a trip to Georgetown soon myself and stop on in to enjoy something from their extensive menu - how will I ever choose? Georgetown Family Restaurant is a clean, recently renovated, family-owned diner located right in the heart of downtown Georgetown, Delaware. It has that small-town charm and a local feel, which we appreciated.

We stopped in for a simple breakfast — it was quick, inexpensive, and just what we needed to start the day.

That said, the service could use a bit of improvement, especially for visitors who may be touring the area like we were. A warmer, more welcoming approach would go a long way in making out-of-town guests feel at home.

First time at diner. Looked nice and clean. Food was ok. Nice atmosphere however the problem was our server. Older lady forgot her name, wasnt very friendly until she dropped off check at table. We had my 16 year old grandson with us that had allergies to eggs, nuts, tree nuts and we always inform our server which we did and she just looked at us and said "sooo"Like what am I supposed to do. Then we asked what kind of oil they cook in and she didn't have a clue. I said " well could you check?"
